Design and deliver full stack features on the new platform using Next.js, NestJS, and Aurora PostgreSQL
Contribute to technical design and architecture discussions
Build high-quality frontend experiences and backend services
Develop and evolve APIs and service boundaries
Work with PostgreSQL to design schemas, write queries, and optimize performance
Leverage AWS services such as S3, Lambda, and SQS
Implement secure authentication and authorization flows using Auth0 and OAuth standards
Follow and contribute to engineering best practices including testing, CI/CD, observability, and secure system design
Actively use AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code
Continuously improve how AI tools are used within the team
Collaborate closely with Product, UX, and engineering peers
Mentor other engineers through code reviews, pairing, and sharing best practices
Foster a collaborative team environment

7 or more years of software engineering experience with significant full stack development responsibilities
Experience operating at a senior level with strong implementation skills and contributions to system design
Strong experience with modern web technologies including TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Next.js
Experience building backend services using frameworks such as NestJS or similar Node.js frameworks
Deep experience working with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
Strong understanding of API design and scalable application patterns
Experience working with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, SQS, and RDS or Aurora
Ability to work effectively in environments with evolving requirements and shared technical ownership
Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
Comfort giving and receiving feedback in code reviews and technical discussions
Demonstrated experience using AI tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or ChatGPT as a core part of the development workflow
Strong ability to evaluate, validate, and improve AI-generated outputs
Mindset that embraces AI as a force multiplier for engineering productivity and continuous learning

Experience contributing to platform or system design in a collaborative environment
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation
Experience building AI-powered features such as LLM integrations, RAG systems, or intelligent workflows
Experience helping teams adopt and improve AI-assisted development practices
