This is a remote position.

Job Description

The Senior Software Developer is responsible for designing, implementing, testing. This role requires a strong understanding of both legacy and modern technologies, ensuring scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions aligned with business requirements.

Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable software solutions across the stack.

Maintain and improve legacy systems using .NET Framework and AngularJS.

Develop and integrate RESTful APIs using .NET and web technologies (SOAP, REST, XML).

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and documentation.

Perform unit testing and software quality assurance.

Ensure timely delivery of projects with high-quality results.

Requirements

4+ years of experience in software development with service-oriented architecture.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in .NET Framework (4.8) using C#, VB, ASP.NET.

Experience with Visual Studio 2022.

Experience with relational database development using MS SQL.

Familiarity with AngularJS (legacy systems).

Web technologies

HTML, XML, XSL, JavaScript, VBScript, Ajax, ActiveX.

Experience with SOAP and REST services.

Knowledge of IIS (Internet Information Services).

Experience with ASP and JScript.

Familiarity with Software Factory concepts.

Team Foundation Server and version control systems.

Understanding of distributed architectures and internet-based systems.

Soft Skills

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Strong documentation practices and attention to detail.

Ability to mentor peers and support end-users effectively.

Up-to-date knowledge of common development concepts and technologies.
