Lead Java Software Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Lead Java Software Engineer to start a new team and step into a client-facing "AI Engineer" role. This position requires a proactive professional capable of working independently, collaborating closely with an English-speaking customer team, and driving the development of AI-powered solutions on AWS infrastructure. Responsibilities Apply strong core Java skills to existing project infrastructure Work independently without strict requirements while maintaining a proactive approach Maintain tight collaboration with the customer throughout the project lifecycle Communicate effectively with an English-speaking team Meet client expectations through AI experience and theoretical knowledge Perform analytical work and research in cooperation with the Architecture team Develop AI Agents using the customer's Agent Development Kit in Java Apply AI principles to client's features and use cases Requirements 5+ years of experience with core Java development, including Java 21/25, Spring Boot, and Spring AI Proficiency in AWS services such as EKS, Lambda, DocumentDB, S3, Bedrock, EC2, StepFunction, and SageMaker Experience developing AI Agents, including LLM prompting techniques Understanding of AI principles and their application to real-world features Skills in analytical work and research, with the ability to cooperate with Architecture teams Capability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills to collaborate with English-speaking customer teams
