As a CRM Technical Architect (Manager level) at Avanade, you will lead the technical design and architecture of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE solutions for enterprise clients in New Zealand. Based in Auckland, you will provide deep technical leadership across presales, design and delivery phases, ensuring solutions are robust, scalable and aligned to client requirements and Microsoft best practices.

What you'll do

• Lead technical architecture and solution design for complex Dynamics 365 CE / CRM implementations
• Design end-to-end technical solutions including data model, integrations, customisations and security architecture
• Architect Power Platform solutions including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse and Power Pages
• Provide technical governance across delivery teams, reviewing code, configurations and integration designs
• Lead technical workshops with client stakeholders to validate architecture decisions
• Collaborate with functional architects, security architects and infrastructure teams
• Lead and contribute to pre-sales engagements including technical scoping, effort estimation and proposal development
• Mentor and guide senior developers and technical consultants on the programme
• Stay current with Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform developments and advise on emerging capabilities

Skills & Experience

About you

• You are a highly experienced CRM technical architect with deep expertise in Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform
• You have a track record of designing and delivering complex, high-quality solutions in a consulting environment
• You are confident leading technical discussions with client stakeholders and executives
• You bring strong communication skills and can translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences
• You enjoy mentoring and developing more junior technical team members
• You likely have 8+ years of professional experience in Dynamics 365 CE technical delivery

Technical skills & experience

• Deep technical expertise in Dynamics 365 CE: plugins, JavaScript, PCF controls, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Web API
• Strong experience with Power Platform: Power Apps (Canvas, Model-Driven), Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Pages
• Experience designing integration architectures using Azure Integration Services, Service Bus, Logic Apps and REST APIs
• DevOps with Dynamics 365 CE including ALM, solution management and CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of Azure services supporting D365 CE solutions: Azure AD, Azure API Management, Key Vault, Storage
• Experience with both Agile and Waterfall delivery models

Preferred certifications

• PL-400: Microsoft Power Platform Developer
• MB-600: Microsoft Dynamics 365 + Power Platform Solution Architect
• AZ-204: Developing Solutions for Microsoft Azure (desirable)

Preferred years of experience

You likely have 8–14 years of professional experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE technical delivery, with at least 4 years in an architecture role.
