We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join a collaborative Agile development team focused on designing, developing, and delivering highly scalable software solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced full-stack engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, mentoring teammates, and building modern cloud-based applications.

As a senior individual contributor, you will partner closely with product owners, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality software in a fast-paced environment using modern engineering practices.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and support scalable, enterprise-grade software applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver business value through iterative development.
  • Build modern web services and applications using object-oriented programming principles and best practices.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code utilizing Test-Driven Development (TDD), pair programming, and continuous integration.
  • Participate in architecture discussions and recommend technical solutions to complex business problems.
  • Mentor team members on software engineering best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and engineering standards.
  • Partner with product owners and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Stay current on industry trends and evaluate new technologies that could benefit the organization.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Experience building scalable custom software applications using object-oriented programming languages.
  • Experience developing modern web applications or APIs.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms.
  • Experience with Git source control.
  • Experience with automated testing, unit testing, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • Experience utilizing modern software design patterns and writing clean, maintainable code.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to thrive in an Agile development environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing with .NET Core and .NET Web API.
  • Experience building highly scalable distributed systems.
  • Experience deploying applications to Kubernetes environments.
  • Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Agile and Lean software development methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of SOLID principles and object-oriented design patterns.

Targeted hourly rate $65-$75/hour on W2.
