Responsibilities

Troubleshoot issues and identify systemic failings
Implement fixes
Propose solutions for reducing toil
Provide leadership in incident resolution
Create and maintain documentation
Provide key input to post-mortem analysis
Improve service requests and change management processes
Proactively mitigate risks in security management
Lead client-facing discussions around SRE process
Identify areas for increasing SRE footprint
Engage with suppliers and 3rd parties for support

Requirements

3-9 Years experience
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science or related discipline
SRE Foundation certificate (DevOps Institute)
Cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP) 'associate'-level certification
Proficiency in Azure and Kubernetes
Hands-on experience in managing and deploying applications
Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
Commercial experience in technologies like Dotnet or Java
Skilled in troubleshooting, incident resolution
Improving service and change management processes
Strong leadership in client-facing discussions
Engagement with third-party suppliers

Preferred

Certified Kubernetes Administrator / Application Developer
Certified Azure DevOps Engineer
Experience with monitoring tools such as NewRelic or Splunk
Familiarity with Harness for continuous delivery and deployment processes
Strong programming skills in .Net, Java, or JavaScript
SRE Foundation certificate and a cloud provider associate-level certification are highly beneficial
