Your New Role
Join AustralianSuper's Technology, Digital & Data team as an Initiative Lead - Member, where you'll play a critical role in shaping how member-focused technology initiatives are planned, prioritised and delivered across the Fund.
Working closely with senior leaders, technology teams and business stakeholders, you'll drive the creation of a single delivery pipeline for member initiatives, bringing visibility, alignment and delivery excellence across a complex portfolio of work. This role is ideal for a strategic delivery leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys influencing senior stakeholders, and is passionate about Agile ways of working.
You'll be at the centre of AustralianSuper's transition towards a more Disciplined Agile and AI-enabled future, helping teams improve delivery quality, accelerate outcomes and create better experiences for members.
In This Role, You Will
- Lead the planning, coordination and execution of member-focused initiatives across Technology, Digital & Data.
- Establish and manage a single delivery pipeline that provides visibility across priorities, dependencies and delivery outcomes.
- Facilitate quarterly planning, sprint cadences and Big Room Planning activities to drive alignment and delivery success.
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to prioritise work and optimise delivery outcomes.
- Develop and maintain value stream roadmaps, ensuring clear alignment between strategy, priorities and execution.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging Agile practices to improve delivery pace, quality and predictability.
- Collaborate on the transition to a unified JIRA environment and promote best practice delivery frameworks across teams.
- Work across virtual squads and cross-functional teams in a Disciplined Agile environment to deliver meaningful outcomes for members.
What You'll Need
- Significant experience in delivery leadership, program coordination, initiative management or a similar role within complex organisations.
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies, including experience facilitating planning cycles, sprint cadences and delivery governance.
- Experience influencing and engaging senior stakeholders across both business and technology functions.
- Strong knowledge of delivery management tools and practices, with experience using JIRA highly regarded.
- The ability to manage competing priorities, dependencies and risks across multiple initiatives.
- Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on driving practical outcomes.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Technology or a related discipline. Agile or Scrum certifications will be highly regarded.
