We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of testing methodologies, hands-on experience with test case design, and the ability to identify and report defects effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, review, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
  • Perform manual testing and/or automation testing based on project needs.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla, etc.
  • Conduct functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and UAT testing.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts to ensure quality deliverables.
  • Validate API responses using tools such as Postman or Swagger.
  • Work with automation frameworks (if applicable) such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and best testing practices.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Defect Lifecycle.
  • Hands-on experience in manual testing (web/mobile).
  • Understanding of API testing.
  • Experience with test management and bug tracking tools.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation.
  • Familiarity with automation tools (based on requirements).

Good to Have

  • Experience with automation frameworks (Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Cucumber, Cypress, Playwright).
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
  • Exposure to Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
