Responsibilities

  • Design, code, test, implement, maintain, and support software applications
  • Develop program logic for new applications
  • Analyze and modify logic in existing applications
  • Maintain, test, and integrate application components
  • Ensure system improvements are successfully implemented
  • Analyze requirements and translate business requirements into product designs
  • Write technical specifications and documentation
  • Suggest technical alternatives and improve/streamline processes and systems
  • Complete project assignments and special projects
  • Conduct planning, analysis, and forecasting activities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to other technical professionals
  • Develop large and/or highly complex solutions
  • Work on multiple projects as a project leader or technical leader/consultant
  • Coach and mentor more junior technical staff

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
  • Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles (waterfall, iterative, agile)
  • Proficiency in business modeling and requirements definition
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to share technical and/or industry knowledge
  • Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
  • Resourceful and proactive in gathering information and sharing ideas
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in an environment that aligns with diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging standards
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Demonstrate core values of Think Big, Go Fast, Deliver Awe, Win Together and Care Deeply
  • 7 or more years of demonstrated applications development experience
  • Experience as an application development system designer or technical lead on large projects
