Job Description

Our group (TPE Database support) would like to hire contracted outsource DBA Database Administration with following qualifications.

SQL Server DBA

• Hands on experience working in multinational company with complex infrastructure.
• Fluent in English communication (Writing, Speaking, Listening, Reading, Explaining on Something, Express the idea, Challenge others politely) will communication with Swiss -
• Proven DBA skills by hands on experience not conceptual such as;
• Setup Mirroring Failover for both automatic and manual (Primary, Secondary, Witness)
• Setup SQL Server Clustering. Always On
• Fixing performance issue ie: locking process, index fragmentation, memory & CPU pressures
• Support migration activity (hands on)
• Hands on experience in handle troubling shooting issue.
• Hands on experience using Microsoft Failover Cluster manager is mandatory
• Hands on experience using Commvault Commserve Backup and Recovery is mandatory
• Hands on experience in AWS environment such as RDS SQL Server, SQL Server in EC2 is mandatory
• Hands on experience using Service Now is mandatory
• Hands on experience in creating Power Shell scripting for SQL Server (Automation) will be BIG PLUS ! ie: automation for SQL Server patching, automatic SQL Server installation
• Hands on experience using AWX Ansible will be BIG PLUS !
• Hands on experience using Bitbucket will be BIG PLUS !
• Hands on experience using JIRA will be BIG PLUS !
• Team player, Willingness to Share.
• Willingness to learn new things
• No Drama King / Queen
• No Cowboy style (must follow PMI policy and procedures) thoroughly
• Communicative & Honest.
• Creative thinking and Self-Initiated (No Robot)
• No Issue with working time schedule.
• Jakarta shift 1 : 6 AM 3 PM WIB or Jakarta shift 2 : 10 AM 7 PM WIB
• Weekend On-Call rotation (once a month)
• Expected joining date : June 1st, 2024
• Contract duration : until December 31st , 2024 (with extendable option)
• Number of candidate : 1 person. Local Only
