Responsibilities

Build next-generation control plane for Kubernetes fleet
Design and deliver self-service infrastructure tooling
Drive observability improvements across the fleet
Improve internal engineering experience with CI/CD pipelines and tooling
Collaborate with Principal Architect on technical direction

Requirements

5+ years operating production Kubernetes clusters at scale
Strong AWS fundamentals (EKS, IAM, VPC networking, ACM)
Working knowledge of GCP and Azure
Hands-on IaC experience (Terraform, OpenTofu, or Pulumi)
Strong software engineering skills using Go, TypeScript, Python, or similar
High autonomy in ambiguous problem spaces
Track record of building internal tooling for non-engineering teams
Experience improving observability posture
Experience in regulated or compliance-sensitive environments
AI-forward mindset

Preferred

GovCloud or FedRAMP environment experience
Experience designing infrastructure for air-gapped or customer-hosted deployments
