Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate all assigned project output
  • Ensure all work adheres to standards and best practices
  • Maintain a high degree of quality
  • Assist in defining and understanding standards and best practices
  • Design and plan applications to meet project objectives
  • Analyze and design innovative new software solutions
  • Develop code using company's best practices and current software patterns
  • Read, understand, and debug code to find and solve software problems
  • Resolve defects
  • Understand the high-level architecture employed by the team
  • Understand the team’s deployment pipelines and processes
  • Test and own software solutions appropriately throughout their lifecycle
  • Actively participate as a full member of an Agile development team
  • Mentor and train other developers
  • Ensure the team produces high quality and performant solutions
  • Keep up to date with technology landscape and best practices
  • Participate in developing and updating coding standards

Requirements

  • Advanced proficiency with .NET Core, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, C#
  • Proficient with JavaScript / Typescript
  • Demonstrated understanding of SOLID design principles
  • Experience with Test Driven Development, unit testing and writing testable code
  • Effective communication skills
  • Proficient with source code control tools and techniques
  • 6 yrs experience and a Degree in Computer Science or related field; or 8 yrs of relevant experience
  • Professional experience developing highly scalable API's and integrations
  • Deep understanding of Web application architecture and operations
  • Experience with design patterns and their application
  • Familiarity with Azure cloud platform
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps pipelines or GitHub actions
  • Experience with AI development tooling

Preferred

  • Experience with React JS (preferred) or other front-end development ecosystem
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, document databases, or other data persistence tools
  • Experience with Agile development processes
  • Experience with Docker or Kubernetes
  • Experience with RabbitMQ or other message-broker software
  • Experience with Redis Cache
