Innovate is looking for a Sr. Salesforce Developer with strong hands-on experience designing, developing, and supporting complex Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Experience Cloud, Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, integrations, and Salesforce security, along with the technical leadership skills needed to guide solution design, development standards, deployments, and ongoing platform support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as a senior technical contributor and development lead on Salesforce solutions, with significant responsibility for Experience Cloud, including:

• Collaborate remotely with the project management team, business analysts, and clients to design and execute project requirements.
• Lead development and enhancement of Salesforce Experience Cloud sites, including architecture of authenticated experiences, audience targeting, navigation, branding, security, sharing, and external-user access.
• Design user-friendly interfaces with UI/UX designers to ensure responsive and visually appealing sites.
• Design and build complex Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWCs), Flow, SOQL, asynchronous processing, and appropriate platform design patterns.
• Design and troubleshoot integrations with enterprise and third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs, platform events, and middleware-based integration patterns.
• Provide technical leadership for source control, code reviews, automated testing, deployments, and release management using Salesforce CLI/SFDX, Git, VS Code, and project-standard CI/CD processes.
• Design and review Salesforce security, sharing, permission models, external-user access, and Experience Cloud licensing approaches for Customer and Partner experiences.
• Contribute to developing technical documentation and delivering knowledge transfer sessions to clients or other team members.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent
• 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, including significant responsibility for complex production solutions
• Required deep hands-on Salesforce Experience Cloud expertise, including architecture and development of authenticated external-user experiences
• Advanced proficiency with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWCs), Flow, SOQL, Salesforce security, integration patterns, and platform governor limits
• Demonstrated technical leadership on complex Salesforce projects, including solution design, estimation, code review, troubleshooting, and production support
• Demonstrated ability to mentor developers, establish development standards, and provide technical guidance across a delivery team
• Eagerness to develop technical skills further
• Proven ability to collaborate with business analysts to refine requirements and deliver scalable solutions
• Strong time management and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically
• U.S. citizenship required
• Ability to clear a Public Trust clearance - This clearance is required to begin work

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Review and integrate all Service Cloud application requirements into Architecture design, including functional, security, integration, performance, quality, and operational needs.
• Design flexible, scalable, and robust architecture for Salesforce to meet the dynamic needs of various projects on Service Cloud.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and enhance the case management system on Service Cloud and address business requirements effectively.
• Provide technical support on Service Cloud issues, ensuring smooth platform operation and addressing any issues or discrepancies.
• Configure Service Cloud using best practices to address business requirements, workflows & approvals, and related processes, including system areas like email-to-case, web-to-case, Knowledge, escalations, and support surveys.
• Experience in customizing Service Cloud to meet specific use cases, including high-quality source code practices, validation testing, end-user testing, and complete documentation.
• Preferred: Hands-on MuleSoft experience sufficient to serve as a backup integration developer/support resource, including familiarity with Anypoint Platform, API-led connectivity, REST/SOAP services, DataWeave, error handling, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to collaborate with a primary MuleSoft/integration resource, understand existing integration architecture, diagnose interface issues, and implement or support lower-to-moderate complexity MuleSoft changes when needed.
• Familiarity with Agile Project Management methodologies.
