Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Business Intelligence Manager to lead our BI initiatives and drive data-driven decision-making across the organization. The Senior BI Manager will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of BI strategies, processes, and solutions to meet the evolving needs of the business. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of BI technologies, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering impactful insights that drive business growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

BI Strategy and Roadmap

o Develop and communicate a comprehensive BI strategy and roadmap aligned with organizational goals and objectives.

o Lead the planning and execution of BI projects, ensuring alignment with business priorities and resource allocation.

Team Leadership and Development

o Build and lead a high-performing BI team, including analysts, developers, and data engineers.

o Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to team members to foster growth and expertise.

Data Governance and Architecture

o Establish and maintain robust data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance.

o Define and implement scalable data architectures and infrastructure to support BI and analytics needs, including data warehouses, data lakes, and ETL processes.

BI Solutions Development

o Oversee the design, development, and deployment of BI solutions, including reports, dashboards, and self-service analytics tools.

o Evaluate and recommend BI technologies, tools, and platforms to enhance capabilities and drive innovation.

Business Insights and Decision Support

o Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their BI needs and requirements, translating them into actionable insights and analytics solutions.

o Provide strategic guidance and decision support based on data-driven analysis and interpretation of key business metrics and KPIs.

Performance Monitoring and Optimization

o Establish performance metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness and impact of BI initiatives.

o Continuously monitor and optimize BI processes, systems, and workflows to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CBIP, TDWI) preferred.
• 4+ years of progressive experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or related roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
• Extensive knowledge of BI concepts, methodologies, tools, and best practices, including data warehousing, ETL, data modeling, and data visualization.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and empower cross-functional teams.
• Proven track record of delivering successful BI projects and driving business impact through data-driven insights and recommendations.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strategic thinker with a forward-looking vision for leveraging BI and analytics to drive innovation, competitiveness, and business growth.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving, critical thinking, and continuous improvement.
