Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend services and APIs for financial workflows
Build solutions in Java 18-21 with microservices architectures
Design and maintain SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Redis)
Develop cloud-native applications in AWS
Implement REST, GraphQL, and SOAP APIs including Spring Boot services
Maintain and improve existing systems including legacy code
Contribute to technical design and architecture decisions
Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and best practices
Support production systems and troubleshoot issues
Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Mentor engineers and support onboarding
Apply AI-assisted development tools responsibly

Requirements

6+ years of professional software engineering experience
Strong backend development using Java 18-21
Experience with backend systems in production
Experience designing complex software systems
Experience with APIs (REST, GraphQL, SOAP)
Experience with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL (Redis)
Production experience with Kafka
Cloud application development in AWS
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Experience supporting and maintaining production systems
