Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright and AccelQ
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and release workflows
- Monitor test execution results and improve pipeline quality signals
- Troubleshoot failing tests, identify root causes, and analyze logs
- Collaborate with developers to resolve defects and improve system reliability
- Surface quality risks early and help prevent regressions before release
- Work within Agile/Scrum teams using Jira and Confluence
- Participate in code reviews and testing reviews
- Contribute to technical documentation and testing standards
- Assist with onboarding and mentoring junior testers
- Examine skill gaps and identify opportunities for training and certifications
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience as a software tester
- 2+ years of experience writing automated tests
- Some post-secondary education in computer science, software engineering, quality assurance, or software testing
- Strong hands-on experience building automated test suites
- Experience integrating automated tests in CI/CD pipelines and release workflows
- Experience investigating test failures, analyzing logs, and troubleshooting flaky tests
- Proficient with testing on Windows, Mac OS, iOS, and Android
- Proficient with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ES6+, TypeScript, C#, and Microsoft .NET 8
- Proficient with PowerShell scripting, SQL and NoSQL databases
- Working understanding of REST, SOAP, Web Sockets, and OData
- Working understanding of OAuth 2.0, JWT, and Microsoft Graph
- Experience developing tests for data transformations (XML, XSLT, JSON)
- Experience with Git and GitHub
- Proficient with Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Sonar Lint, ES Lint, SonarQube, and AI code generation tools
- Communicate fluently in written and spoken English
