Responsibilities

Own frontend feature development and drive completion and quality
Lead engineering project team through implementation
Perform code reviews and frontend architecture solutioning
Manage third-party integrations and release management
Plan and delegate tasks to engineering team members
Anticipate risks and provide solutions
Distill complex asks into actionable solutions and tasks
Work with clients to understand business requirements and product roadmaps
Validate project estimates and approaches
Mentor and lead engineers on project team
Manage commitments to multiple projects

Requirements

Senior level development experience with frontend frameworks
Expert knowledge and experience with Shopify eCommerce platform
3-5 years of experience working in eCommerce
Experience with Liquid, Javascript, React, Tailwind CSS, GraphQL, REST, and Git
Understanding of Shopify Themes, APIs, Apps, Functions, and Extensions
Experience working with JIRA and Confluence
Experience in writing technical documentation
Knowledge of web performance and web accessibility
Knowledge of querying data and API request handling
Knowledge of component structure and design systems
Understanding of user behaviors and marketing sciences in eCommerce
Understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies
