You will contribute to the team’s micro-frontend architecture and partner with engineers and stakeholders across the organization to address cross-cutting needs that affect the broader Grainger.com experience.

Your work will include creating and maintaining reusable React components, designing and evolving backend services and infrastructure, improving application observability and reliability, and modernizing legacy systems using current architectures and engineering standards.

You will report to the Engineering Manager, Product Engineering. The primary location for this role is Chicago, with the ability to work from home two days per week. Candidates who live outside the Chicago area may work remotely.
