We're looking for a Digital Print Technician to join our Print Services team. Based at the Next Head Office in Enderby, Leicestershire!
The Role
As a Digital Print Technician at our energetic Enderby Head Office, you will be right at the heartbeat of NEXT. Joining our modern, in-house Reprographics team, you’ll produce high-quality, fast-turnaround graphics that support our stores, warehouses, and Head Office colleagues. Whether you are printing on paper, boards, garments, or fabrics, your work will make a visible difference across the business.
You’ll collaborate closely with our internal customers to bring their ideas to life, as well as partnering with our wider team. In return, you’ll step into a fast-paced, encouraging environment where we will support you to play to your strengths, learn our systems, and take your career bigger and better than before.
What You’ll Take On
- Partnering directly with internal customers to understand their briefs, offering expert advice on different print projects.
- Preparing artwork files and operating both small and large format digital presses across a wide range of substrates, applying the right finishing techniques.
- Scheduling, annotating, and coordinating print jobs closely with our fellow technicians based in other locations.
- Taking ownership of basic photocopier maintenance across the campus, keeping our internal fleet clean and running efficiently.
- Managing department stock, including ordering, rotation, and replenishment to ensure the facility is always fully equipped.
What You’ll Bring
- Practical experience in a digital print role, operating both small and large format presses alongside safe manual handling practices.
- Strong skills in preparing and artworking files for print using the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Familiarity with Print Management Software and a proven ability to work efficiently to achieve KPIs.
- A proactive, flexible mindset, allowing you to use your initiative, adapt to shifting priorities, and stay organised during our busy periods.
- Excellent, clear communication skills, making it easy for you to collaborate with colleagues and advise our internal customers.
- Confidence in using everyday digital tools, specifically Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, and Gmail).
- A full UK driving licence to enable travel to our other locations.
If you are looking for a role where you can grow, innovate, and be yourself, we would love to hear from you!
