Build highly scalable microservices in a serverless backend architecture
Participate in design sessions to improve platform architecture
Become well versed in AWS technologies and serverless architecture
Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and come up with solutions
Utilize application integration techniques to communicate with third party systems
Help develop high-volume, high-performance, high-availability Java or Typescript applications

3-5+ years’ experience in design and development of service-oriented Java, Python, C# , Typescript applications
Design and develop reusable libraries and APIs and microservices
Experience with relational or NoSQL data stores
Relevant O/S knowledge (Linux/Unix and Windows)
Networking knowledge and experience
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Agile/Scrum experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Previous experience with Point-of-Sale development or payment systems
Prior experience with AWS serverless and companion technologies like DynamoDB, SQS
