Responsibilities
- Implement new features, enhancements, and bug fixes across the integration platform
- Write clean, maintainable, production-quality code across the integration stack
- Build and maintain file-based integration logic
- Implement and maintain REST API endpoints and background processing pipelines
- Make database changes to support integration tasks
- Participate actively in agile ceremonies
- Leverage AI tooling actively throughout feature development
- Integrate agentic development tooling into daily workflow
- Use AI to accelerate delivery, improve code quality, expand test coverage
- Stay current on emerging agentic development tooling and share practices
- Build quality into all tasks
- Participate in code reviews
- Follow and contribute to the integration platform’s engineering standards
- Implement observability within your work
- Ensure production stability
- Work closely with the Principal Engineer, peer engineers, QA, and product management
- Surface technical blockers, delivery risks, and scope concerns
- Mentor junior engineers on integration patterns, Oracle and C#/.NET best practices, AI-first development workflows, and professional growth
- Interface with client stakeholders as needed
Requirements
- 6+ years of hands-on software engineering experience in enterprise SaaS environments
- Strong proficiency in C# and .NET (Framework and/or modern .NET)
- Experience with Oracle databases including SQL and PL/SQL
- Experience with file-based integration patterns
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs with clean layered architecture
- Demonstrated AI-first engineering mindset
- Experience with background job processing and queue-based patterns
- Experience working within agile/scrum teams
- Experience with Git-based version control and PR-based development workflows
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience
Preferred
- Experience with Azure cloud technologies — particularly services relevant to data movement and integration: Azure Blob Storage, Azure Service Bus, or similar
- Familiarity with Boomi or similar enterprise iPaaS platforms
- Background in financial services, equity compensation, broker-dealer integrations, or adjacent regulated domains
- Experience with WCF/SOAP services or SOAP-to-REST migration patterns
- Experience with Hangfire or similar background job scheduling frameworks
- Familiarity with connector/plugin architectures
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and cloud-native deployment patterns
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices — GitHub Actions preferred
- Experience with security patterns for integration services
- Familiarity with multi-tenant data isolation patterns in shared codebases
