Role Overview

• We are seeking an experienced Mendix Developer to join a digital development team in Amsterdam.
• The successful candidate will design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Mendix applications.
• This role requires strong Mendix development expertise, excellent Dutch language skills, and the ability to work directly with business and technical stakeholders.
• The candidate must be available to work onsite at least 2 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Mendix applications.
• Develop scalable and maintainable solutions using Mendix best practices.
• Design and implement domain models, microflows, nanoflows, and application pages.
• Configure and maintain application security.
• Support application lifecycle management activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, business users, developers, and technical stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into effective Mendix solutions.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and development activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices and application quality.

Essential Skills

• 4+ years of hands-on Mendix development experience.
• Mendix Advanced Developer Certification – Mandatory.
• Fluent Dutch language proficiency – speaking, reading, and writing.
• Strong knowledge of Mendix architecture and development best practices.
• Mendix Domain Modeling.
• Microflows and Nanoflows.
• Mendix Pages and UI development.
• Mendix application security.
• Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• Experience working directly with business users and Product Owners.
• Willingness to work onsite minimum 2 days per week.

Desirable Skills

• Experience working on enterprise-scale Mendix applications.
• Experience with Mendix integrations and APIs.
• Experience with application performance optimization.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary development teams.
