Responsibilities

  • Lead reliability and operations for Postgres integration
  • Design and implement automation for provisioning, deployments, and service lifecycle management
  • Develop infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and CI/CD tooling
  • Contribute Go-based tooling and services
  • Own observability and monitoring
  • Drive incident management and postmortem practices
  • Collaborate with platform, networking, and product teams
  • Mentor and enable engineers

Requirements

  • 7+ years in SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering
  • Solid understanding of Postgres operations, scaling, and performance tuning
  • Deep hands-on experience across AWS
  • Exposure to GCP and Azure
  • Proficient with Terraform
  • Proficient with Kubernetes
  • Proficient with container-based infrastructure
  • Strong Go development skills
  • Familiar with Prometheus
  • Familiar with Grafana
  • Familiar with Loki
  • Familiar with OpenTelemetry
  • Deep understanding of SLOs
  • Deep understanding of incident response
  • Deep understanding of continuous improvement in service reliability
