Role Overview
This role offers the opportunity to lead the end-to-end delivery of analytics solutions within a complex, international Supply Management environment. You will transform evolving business needs into reliable, practical and widely adopted solutions, ranging from Power BI dashboards and Excel-based reports to commercial models, automation initiatives and process improvements. Acting as the link between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, you will help create a more streamlined analytics landscape with stronger governance, clearer ownership and fewer unnecessary handovers. Success will be reflected in trusted data, actionable insights, increased user adoption and measurable improvements in efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
You will carry out rigorous data-quality checks, reconcile critical figures, investigate anomalies and clearly record assumptions, constraints and known limitations. You will collaborate with regional and global Supply Management stakeholders, as well as Build and Run teams, to establish priorities, test solutions and support informed decision-making. You will also prepare documentation, handover guidance, refresh requirements and issue-management procedures to ensure a smooth transition into ongoing operations.
A key part of the position will involve identifying opportunities to generate business value from data, streamline processes and introduce automation where it delivers a meaningful return. You will promote the adoption of analytics tools and self-service capabilities, helping stakeholders move beyond reporting towards practical insight and action. Throughout delivery, you will challenge low-value activity, prevent unnecessary duplication and balance agility with appropriate planning, governance and quality control.
Requirements
You will bring advanced hands-on expertise in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, covering data ingestion, transformation, semantic modelling, DAX, visualisation and user experience, access management, refresh pipelines and performance optimisation. You will be capable of designing flexible data models that support continuous improvement and can scale as business requirements evolve. Advanced Excel skills are highly desirable, while practical experience combining multiple data sources through SQL, Python, APIs or comparable automation technologies will be a strong advantage. Exposure to artificial intelligence or machine-learning tools will also be valued.
You have proven experience delivering analytics initiatives from initial problem definition through to deployment, stakeholder approval and operational handover. Strong analytical judgement will enable them to question unreliable figures, uncover the causes of inconsistencies and translate data into commercially relevant recommendations. You will work confidently and independently in uncertain environments, impose structure on loosely defined needs and make sensible trade-offs between speed, complexity, cost and business value.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills are essential. The successful candidate will simplify technical concepts for non-technical audiences, provide concise updates to senior stakeholders and influence decisions constructively. You demonstrate curiosity, initiative, customer focus and a disciplined approach to quality assurance, documentation and long-term maintainability. Experience operating across countries or functions in highly coordinated environments is expected, while knowledge of procurement, supply management or commercial analytics will be advantageous. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in another language, particularly French, will be considered an asset.
