Responsibilities

Build, enhance, and troubleshoot Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines
Develop Snowflake ELT/ETL processes
Develop Databricks ELT/ETL processes
Monitor daily/weekly/monthly data batch cycles
Respond to job failures, latency, or data-quality issues
Diagnose and resolve production incidents within SLA targets
Perform root cause analysis and write documentation
Implement fixes to prevent recurrence of issues
Drive operational improvements including automation and alert tuning
Work within ITIL/ITSM workflows
Collaborate with cross-regional teams
Apply agentic AI in day-to-day delivery using Snowflake Cortex

Requirements

2-3 years of experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT development, or production support
Strong SQL skills for debugging and performance awareness
Strong Python skills for troubleshooting, scripting, and automation
Hands-on experience with Snowflake
Hands-on experience with Databricks
Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF)
Experience with Git and pull-request practices
Ability to trace issues across data pipelines, logs, and code repositories

Preferred

Experience with ServiceNow
Experience with Control-M
Experience with Azure DevOps
Experience with Git-based workflows
Experience with CI/CD
Exposure to data observability and monitoring patterns
Familiarity with dbt
Experience with Snowflake Cortex or enterprise GenAI platforms
Experience building reusable agent solutions
Experience with responsible AI operations
