Java Algo Engineer – Global Investment Bank

What You'll Do

• Develop and enhance algorithmic trading engines using Core Java.
• Partner with global trading, quant, and technology teams to deliver high-performance trading solutions.
• Design, build, test, and deploy scalable applications across the full software development lifecycle.
• Improve execution performance, trading signal generation, and trading infrastructure.
• Build resilient, low-latency, message-driven systems running in Linux/UNIX environments.

What We're Looking For

• Strong Core Java development experience.
• Solid Linux/UNIX knowledge.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience translating business and technical requirements into scalable software solutions.
• Familiarity with Git, GitStash, Jenkins, and JUnit.
• Excellent communication skills with experience working in global teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with algorithmic trading, electronic trading, market making, or quantitative trading systems.
• Knowledge of FIX Protocol.
• Experience building RESTful web services.
• Exposure to TypeScript or Angular.
• Experience with time-series databases (e.g. KDB/q).
• Experience with low-latency messaging or pub/sub technologies.
