Responsibilities

Build, maintain, and optimize core EMR features
Implement strict role-based access controls
Develop and maintain automated GitHub Actions pipelines
Ensure zero secrets are hardcoded in the repository
Address automated security checks before pushing code

Requirements

Strong, production-grade experience with PHP and MySQL
Deep understanding of the HIPAA Security Rule and handling PHI
Deep familiarity with GitHub, branching strategies, Pull Request workflows, and managing deployment pipelines via GitHub Actions
Practical experience with Microsoft Azure
Ability to work independently as a 1099 contractor

Preferred

Prior experience working on EMR/EHR platforms or medical billing systems
Kubernetes/AKS is a major plus
Experience with Azure Key Vault
Experience setting up isolated network environments
