Lead the design and development of secure back-end services, RESTful APIs, and microservices
Implement best practices for cloud-native applications in an AWS and Kubernetes-based environment
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, providing root cause analysis
Contribute to performance tuning, scalability testing, and capacity planning
Collaborate with product owners, technical leads, and stakeholders to refine user stories
Support CI/CD processes using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and SonarQube
Perform unit testing, integration testing, and assist in developing automated test cases

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
IRS Public Trust Security Clearance (Required)
7+ years of back-end development experience
at least 3+ years in a senior or lead developer role
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Familiarity with IRS cloud environments, FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST 800-53 standards
Experience with tools such as Jenkins, Git, SonarQube, NexusIQ, Selenium, and AppDynamics
Expertise in back-end programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, Node.js, or Python)
Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs, microservices, and database schemas
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Podman), Kubernetes, and AWS cloud services
Ability to architect scalable, maintainable back-end solutions
Ability to lead technical decision-making and collaborate effectively with cross-functional Agile teams
