Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications for cloud environments
- Implement cloud-native solutions on GCP for image workflows
- Create and maintain RESTful APIs for internal and external integration
- Build and maintain image processing pipelines
- Implement AI-enabled capabilities for image-driven use cases
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in cloud applications
- Ensure applications meet security and compliance requirements
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
- Implement observability practices including logging and metrics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions
- Participate in architecture and code reviews
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- Degree from accredited College/University in applicable field
- Strong experience developing backend services in Java
- Hands-on experience with GCP
- Experience designing RESTful APIs
- Experience with image-centric workflows
- Experience integrating AI capabilities into applications
- Knowledge of secure engineering practices including IAM
- Familiarity with CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code
- Strong troubleshooting skills for cloud applications
