Design and develop scalable software applications and systems
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality products
Mentor and provide technical guidance to peers and less experienced engineers
Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices
Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize applications for performance and scalability
Stay current with emerging technologies and propose improvements to systems and processes
Leverage AI-assisted development tools and practices to accelerate delivery, improve code quality, and document decision-making
Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or a demonstrated track record of building and shipping challenging software projects
4+ years of professional experience in software engineering
Demonstrated experience delivering software to production environments, including ownership of features from design through deployment
Experience in developing large-scale, high-performance applications
Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
Expert-level proficiency in relevant programming languages (Python, Java, GoLang)
Strong proficiency in relational databases
Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker)
Familiarity with orchestration platforms (Kubernetes)
Proficiency in designing and implementing automated testing strategies
Experience with version control systems (Git)
Experience with collaborative development tools
Hands-on experience using and integrating AI-based tools and workflows into the development lifecycle
Understanding of AI capabilities, limitations, and establishing appropriate guardrails against inherent risks
Must reside in one of these states: CA, CT, FL, IL, KY, MD, MA, MI, MN, NC, NY, OH, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, VA, WA
