Responsibilities

Manage enterprise search system
Design, develop, and optimize search system accuracy and performance
Design, develop, and oversee enterprise search infrastructure
Develop deep learning-based NLP algorithms for query analysis and suggestion
Design, implement, and deploy ranking algorithms
Evaluate and optimize algorithm accuracy
Track and analyze end-to-end system performance
Lead search system improvement initiatives
Align search system with industry benchmarks

Requirements

Masters degree in Computer Science or relevant field
5+ years of experience in search, recommendation or question answering systems
In-depth knowledge of relevance measurement, tuning, and modeling
Engineering experience with large language models and RAG systems
Expertise in Python and/or C++
Exceptional problem-solving capabilities
Meticulous attention to detail
Outstanding communication skills
Ability to contribute individually and function effectively as part of a team

Preferred

PhD a plus
Familiarity with embedding-based search systems
