As an Android Lead Engineer - Manager, you will spearhead innovative software engineering projects within our Technology Consulting practice, focusing on client support and product innovation. You will lead teams in developing cutting-edge Android applications, leveraging your technical skills and strategic vision to deliver impactful solutions that meet client needs.

As a Manager, you will play a pivotal role in mentoring junior staff, guiding them through complex problem-solving and project management tasks. You will be accountable for driving project success, maintaining timelines, and upholding professional standards. Your leadership will inspire teams to deliver quality work, while your business acumen will help identify opportunities that contribute to the firm's success. You will articulate our purpose and values, embracing technology and innovation to enhance delivery.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design, develop, and deploy software solutions that address client challenges. Your ability to navigate ambiguity and cultivate meaningful client relationships will be crucial in delivering exceptional service and contributing to the firm's broader business strategies.

Responsibilities

• Leading the development and implementation of Android applications using Kotlin and Java
• Managing software engineering teams to deliver client-focused solutions in a timely manner
• Overseeing the integration of APIs and microservices to enhance application functionality
• Guiding teams in adopting Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices
• Collaborating with stakeholders to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Conducting code reviews and enforcing coding standards to maintain software quality
• Utilizing software project management skills to plan, execute, and complete projects effectively
• Promoting the use of innovative technologies and methodologies in software development
• Confirming application lifecycle management and maintenance for sustained performance
• Coaching and mentoring junior engineers to foster professional growth and development

What You Must Have

• At least a Bachelor's degree
• At least 8 years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English required
