About the Role

Orchata is looking for a self-motivated and disruptive Product Manager with excellent communication skills and a desire to work in a fast-paced, successful startup environment. As Product Manager you will craft and orchestrate compelling user experiences which create meaningful and life lasting connections between Orchata (Design team and Tech team) and end-customers. We are looking for a person with strong experience as Product Manager and better yet if you have previously worked as a product designer.

We don’t want you to build another product, but THE product.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the ideation and launch of innovative products
• Drive product development with Orchata’s engineers and designers
• Analyze metrics that inform the success of our products
• To research, analyze and deep understanding of the problems that customers are facing
• Establish the direction and vision of the product alongside with the CEO
• Set and adjust the roadmap
• Coordinating the requirements for features and chores to a designer
• Shepherd features through design, coordinating tweaks and adjustments
• Communicate new features and updates, both internally and to customers and merchants

What the Candidate Will Need

• 4+ years of product management experience
• E-commerce is a plus
• Marketplace experience is a pluS

Required skills

• Ability to simplify and turn complex interactions into intuitive user experiences
• Exceptional skills in ideation sketching, brainstorming, UX & prototyping software
• Experience in mobile web and/ or native mobile development
• Fluency with design tools, most notably Sketch, Invision, Figma and/or other UX & prototyping software
• Demonstrated design and UX sensibilities
• Awareness of cross-browser compatibility issues
• Clear and confident communicator with an affinity for visual storytelling
• Portfolio showing breadth of UI/UX Design work

Extra magic points if you have

• Technical knowledge: UI with the latest technologies: React, Redux, Sass, ES2016
• Previous experience working early stage startups, e-commerce platforms or SaaS.
