About Your Company

The hiring company is seeking an experienced Product Manager to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the strategic development and commercial success of one or more pharmaceutical products. You will work cross-functionally with teams in R&D, marketing, sales, and other departments to ensure your products meet business goals and customer/patient needs. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills to manage the product lifecycle and drive growth effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the strategic product plan, including defining the product vision, value proposition, and target markets
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and risks
• Work with marketing to create compelling product messaging, promotional materials, and launch strategies
• Partner with the sales team to provide product training and support for field representatives
• Monitor product performance metrics and identify areas for optimization or new initiatives
• Prepare forecasts, budgets, and business cases to support product investment decisions
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities
• Communicate progress and recommend actions to the cross-functional leadership team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a life sciences or related field; advanced degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotechnology product management, marketing, or strategy
• Proven track record of successfully launching and growing pharmaceutical products
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills to interpret market data and make data-driven decisions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
• Familiarity with drug development, regulatory, and commercial processes in the pharmaceutical industry
• Experience with product lifecycle management, forecasting, and business planning
