Team Summary

Our Embedded QA team specializes in end-to-end and firmware testing of embedded systems, including video streaming, to ensure the reliability, performance, and quality of the product lineups. We validate end-to-end user scenarios through rigorous testing that reflects real-world conditions. Working closely with SDET, Engineering, Product, and other QA teams, we proactively identify issues and provide actionable insights to improve system stability and user satisfaction.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer familiar with embedded systems testing to handle high-complexity tasks. You will be responsible for ensuring product and software quality prior to release, building and improving testing processes, creating complex test documentation and test plans, and mentoring team members across hardware, backend, and app interfaces.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Contribute to test execution for high-complexity tasks as part of a global team.
  • Create, maintain, and execute test cases, test plans, and QA documentation for complex tasks.
  • Report bugs, investigate defects in depth, identify and highlight risks, and validate fixes.
  • Review test documentation prepared by team members and provide guidance and mentoring when needed.
  • Build, maintain, and continuously improve QA processes across projects.
  • Participate in bug triage, task allocation, project planning, and Go/No-Go meetings.
  • Communicate testing status, identified risks, and test results to project stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in manual testing, with hands-on experience testing embedded systems.
  • Deep understanding of QA/QC principles, SDLC, and testing methodologies.
  • Strong experience in manual software testing and test results analysis.
  • Experience in requirements analysis and test documentation creation.
  • Experience in UNIX/Linux environments and understanding of embedded systems principles.
  • Understanding of network principles.
  • Ability to root-cause failures across software, firmware, and hardware.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Ability to work from our office in Wrocław.

Nice to have

  • Basic knowledge of Python and Bash.
  • Experience with Wi-Fi / 802.11 protocols.
  • Experience in QA activities planning and technical report creation.
  • Knowledge of QA and domain standards.
