Team Summary

Our Streaming QA team specializes in video streaming testing to ensure the reliability, performance, and quality of streaming experiences across our camera products. We validate end-to-end streaming workflows through rigorous testing that reflects real-world conditions. Working closely with SDET, Engineering, and Product teams, we proactively identify issues and provide actionable insights to improve system stability and user satisfaction. Our approach combines manual testing with automation execution and analysis, continuous monitoring of streaming metrics, and seamless support throughout feature development and delivery.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer familiar with a strong background in embedded systems testing and streaming technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for validating firmware and its features across different levels of streaming, from low-level testing to end-to-end validation, including interactions between hardware, backend, and client.

You will be involved throughout the full product development lifecycle, helping identify and resolve issues at every stage and continuously improving product quality and QA standards.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Product requirements analysis​
  • Test documentation​ creation​ and maintenance (test plans, ​test cases, traceability matrix, ​test summary reports, etc)
  • Test execution -​ ​perform feature and regression testing​ ​of products at different stages starting from PoC to full-scale production
  • Be ​proactively involved in SDLC and ongoing release processes.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in manual testing, with hands-on experience in embedded systems and streaming testing.
  • Knowledge of video/audio streaming principles, protocols, and codecs.
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies.
  • Experience in UNIX/Linux.
  • Understanding of network principles.
  • Understanding of embedded systems principles.
  • Experience with bug tracking systems.
  • Experience in writing test documentation.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Ability to work from our office in Wrocław.

Nice to have

  • Experience in debugging hardware and firmware.
  • Basic knowledge of Python and Bash.
  • Experience with LTE, 802.11 protocols.
  • Experience with low-powered systems.
  • The ability to root-cause failures across software, firmware, and hardware.
