Senior Node.js Developer (Backend) – Limassol, Cyprus – Onsite

We are now expanding our development team and looking for a Senior Backend Node.js Developer to help us build a high-performance, scalable backend infrastructure for our next-gen video streaming platform.

About the Role

Lead the design, development, and maintenance of the server-side logic, APIs, and data integrations that power the streaming platforms user management, engagement tracking, loyalty rewards, and notifications..

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable and efficient backend services using Node.JS or Python.
• Implement robust authentication, authorization, and user management systems.
• Design optimized PostgreSQL schemas and manage Redis for caching.
• Build advanced modules for engagement tracking, loyalty rewards, and notifications.
• Drive security, data privacy, and compliance best practices.
• Collaborate with Frontend, DevOps, and QA teams to define and deliver product features.
• Mentor junior developers and ensure adherence to coding standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with backend frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Django, Spring).
• Expertise in database design and performance optimization.
• Strong experience in API design and integration strategies.
• Advanced knowledge of AWS services, CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline), and Docker.
• Proven leadership in cross-functional collaborations and problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
