Data Analyst

Job Summary

The Data Analyst will play a crucial role in leveraging data to drive business insights and improve decision-making processes. This role involves developing and implementing credit scoring models, utilizing AI and machine learning techniques to enhance credit risk assessment and prediction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, AI, and machine learning, with experience in the financial services or fintech industry.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and identify trends.
• Develop and generate reports to support business decisions and strategies.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
• Develop and implement credit scoring models to assess and predict credit risk.
• Utilize AI and machine learning techniques to enhance the accuracy and effectiveness of credit scoring models.
• Continuously monitor and improve the performance of credit scoring models.
• Apply machine learning algorithms to develop predictive models and enhance data-driven decision-making.
• Collaborate with IT and data teams to integrate AI and machine learning solutions into existing systems and processes.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in AI and machine learning and apply relevant techniques to business challenges.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security.
• Implement data quality control measures and maintain comprehensive documentation.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure data consistency and availability.
• Work closely with credit, risk management, and other teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
• Communicate complex data insights in a clear and actionable manner.
• Participate in cross-functional projects and contribute to data-driven decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to improve data analysis processes and tools.

Requirements

Knowledge and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in the financial services or fintech industry.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
• Experience with AI and machine learning techniques and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn).
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing credit scoring models.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
