Role Summary

The Site Reliability and Security Chapter Lead is responsible for guiding the chapter focused on maintaining and enhancing the reliability, scalability, and security of the organizations infrastructure and applications. This role ensures that squads have the necessary tools, methodologies, and knowledge to build secure and resilient systems. By rotating between squads, the Chapter Lead addresses complex reliability and security challenges, mentors team members, and fosters a proactive culture of risk management and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead squads in resolving complex technical issues related to site reliability and security, while developing their skills and capabilities.
• Rotate between squads to provide expertise and ensure the implementation of robust, secure solutions.
• Define and implement reliability and security standards, practices, and tools across the organization.
• Promote a culture of proactive risk management, system reliability, and security excellence.
• Recruit, onboard, and evaluate the performance of chapter members, fostering their professional growth.
• Shape the chapters culture, encouraging collaboration, innovation, and a focus on security and reliability.

• Domain Expertise: Extensive experience in cloud strategy, site reliability engineering, and cybersecurity, with a proven track record of delivering secure, scalable systems.
