Mulesoft Architect

Role Overview

• Mulesoft Architect with strong experience in MuleSoft integration and API-led connectivity.
• Someone with a solid foundation in Java and backend development, and hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• A certified MuleSoft professional who can design, build, and manage APIs and integrations in a distributed, cloud-native environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain MuleSoft Flows and integrations using Anypoint Studio and related tools.
• Build and maintain services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Lead the modernization of integration architecture and contribute to microservices design.
• Work closely with architects and product managers to align on integration strategies.
• Ensure performance, scalability, and security of integration solutions.
• Promote best practices in API design, testing, and CI/CD automation.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams for cloud-native deployments (e.g., Kubernetes, GCP).
• Collaborate with other platform teams to refine integration architecture and define technical work for peers
• Ability to help and train others in mulesoft

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Work Experience & Skills

• 12+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on integration and backend development.
• Strong hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and integration patterns.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).

Salesforce Certified MuleSoft Architect
