Job Description

Our Client, an IT Services and Consultant company, is looking for a Senior Linux Platform Engineer – Storage & Infrastructure for their Beaverton, OR/Remote location.

Responsibilities

• Advanced Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve escalated Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu,OEL,AL,Debian ) issues
• System Administration: Perform routine system maintenance, including package installations, kernel upgrades, and system patching.
• Access & Resource Management: Manage user accounts, access controls, and privileges via LDAP/SSDD integration and sudo policies.
• Backup & Recovery: Execute and verify backup/restore operations for critical OS configurations.
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Conduct RCAs for critical production outages, system crashes, and core file debugging.
• Infrastructure Architecture: Plan and implement high-availability (HA) setups, disaster recovery (DR) solutions, and failover/clustering configurations.
• Automation & Configuration: Deploy and maintain configuration management frameworks (e.g., Ansible, Chef, or Puppet) at the enterprise level.
