Job Openings Software Engineering Director (Java)

Lead development activities for web and mobile channel applications (iOS and Android).
Identify technical risks proactively and recommend mitigation strategies.
Validate performance benchmarks and drive optimization initiatives.
Ensure compliance with security, privacy, regulatory, and governance requirements.
Maintain architecture, design, and review documentation.
Provide hands-on technical guidance, mentoring, and coaching to development teams.
Foster a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA teams, business stakeholders, and technology partners to ensure successful delivery.
Align platform architecture, standards, roadmaps, and development practices with requirements.
Translate business needs into effective technology solutions and coordinate delivery with internal and external teams.
Drive process automation and development efficiency initiatives.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption where beneficial.
Promote innovation and engineering best practices across the organization.

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Approximately 10 years of experience delivering IT solutions within financial institutions.
Strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, gRPC, and microservices architecture.
Proven experience delivering internet-facing web and mobile applications with SSO, OIDC, SAML, MFA, secure session management, SPA architectures, and OWASP compliance.
Strong knowledge of Kafka, APIs, IBM MQ, RabbitMQ, and secure file-based/system integrations.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins, Maven, GitOps/ArgoCD, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native deployment models.
Solid understanding of Oracle, NoSQL databases, Elasticsearch, JSON, XML, Protobuf, and OpenAPI.
Exposure to payments, transaction banking, or cash management domains is an advantage.
Experience managing and delivering large-scale enterprise system development projects.
Strong ownership mindset with accountability for outcomes.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced and rapidly changing environments.
Collaborative, professional, and team-oriented working approach.
