Java Backend Developer (Only for Women)

We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer with strong expertise in Java and modern cloud-based architectures to design, build, and scale high-performance backend systems supporting genomics and healthcare data platforms.

This role will involve building robust APIs, scalable data pipelines, and cloud-native services that power large-scale scientifi c and healthcare applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs to support platform integrations and data services.
• Develop and manage data pipelines and ETL workfl ows to process large-scale biological and clinical datasets.
• Work with MySQL, Elasticsearch, and data warehouse systems for efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Implement cloud-native applications on AWS, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate deployments using Kubernetes.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, integration, and deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including bioinformatics scientists, data engineers, and product teams.
• Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and system reliability across services.

5+ years of experience in backend development.

• Strong programming experience in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience working with MySQL or other relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch for search and analytics.
• Experience designing ETL pipelines and data warehouse solutions.
• Strong exposure to AWS cloud services and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
