Our client is a leading Hong Kong based financial services group listed on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong, serving the needs of customers throughout Greater China and beyond, with the operation one of the largest branch networks in Hong Kong. She is seeking for a Syndicated loan banker for syndication department who will be responsible for originating and distributing syndicated loan transactions for Hong Kong clients. The incumbent will work independently to oversee transactions and ensure the transaction can be executed smoothly and timely.

Responsibilities

• Originate and structure Syndicated/Structured loan transactions as senior product specialist
• Work jointly with relationship management team on loan origination from existing and potential clients, pitching and execution of syndicated finance mandates
• Prepare information memorandum and presentation materials by obtaining relevant market information and liaison with customers directly
• Support Section head of Syndicated loan to develop pricing strategies/ conduct underwriting / market risk assessment
• Distribute primary loan assets, including underwriting position of the primary transactions within approval conditions
• Optimize bank’s loan portfolio by identify secondary market loan sell/buy opportunities
• Build and strengthen relationships with investors in the syndication markets Maintain regular dialogue with loan investors
• Keep track of trends and developments of syndicated loan, DCM, and align own business strategy

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Finance or related disciplines
• Minimum 5 years of relevant loans origination/distribution/structure finance experience
• Proven track record in loans syndication field with high level market contacts, and familiar with the Greater China market landscape
• A proactive individual who seeks improvement for higher productivity/performance for the team and processes
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both English, Cantonese and Putonghua
