About The Opportunity

Event Contracts are one of the fastest-growing financial innovation categories globally over the past two years, showing significant potential across crypto, politics, sports, and macro events. We are building our own Event Contract product line from the ground up. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager who understands both financial products design, trading systems and market microstructure to take the business line to the next growth phase.

What You’ll Be Doing

Own the full lifecycle of this business line — from mechanism design and liquidity build-out to user growth and experience optimization — driving the end-to-end planning and execution of the Event Contract product line.

• Product Mechanism Design: Own the overall design of Event Contract products, including but not limited to product specs for Up-Down, Between (range), and Hit; strike price generation logic; settlement mechanism design; and the specs of contracts on crypto, equities, and other underlyings.
• Market Depth & Liquidity Framework: Design and drive the Market Maker incentive and obligation framework (spread, depth, uptime, and other obligation metrics); continuously monitor order book quality (spread / depth / uptime) to keep the product competitive on key liquidity metrics.
• Business Growth: Own user experience, user growth, and business scaling for this category — including defining and executing user growth campaigns, acquisition/retention/activation strategies, and coordinating channel and operations resources; accountable for core business metrics such as trading volume and user count.
• Competitive Research, Data-Driven Decisions & Cross-Team Collaboration: Continuously track the product mechanisms, fee structures, volume composition, and growth strategies of leading domestic and international competitors, translating industry best practices into product iteration plans for our platform; conduct in-depth analysis of internal trading data to produce actionable product and growth recommendations; work closely with Trading Engine, Frontend, Risk/Settlement, Liquidity/Market Making, and Operations teams to drive execution and iteration.
• New Business Exploration: Explore opportunities to combine event contracts with other product formats (e.g., structured products, social/community mechanics, copy trading, broker distribution partnerships) to open up new growth curves for the platform.

What We Look For In You

• Experience building complex backend systems from 0 to 1 (e.g. trading systems, ad systems, e-commerce systems, or payment systems). Candidates with internet product growth experience, having led acquisition/retention/activation campaigns and owned business outcomes and metrics, have a strong advantage.
• Exceptional learning ability, logical reasoning, and quantitative skills. Strong ability to abstract and translate real-world business scenarios into elegant data structures and business logic.
• Deep understanding of financial derivatives principles, and experience owning the 0-to-1 design or large-scale overhaul of futures/options trading systems is preferred. Alternatively, strong learning ability and transferable methodology from building similar complex systems are welcome.
• Strong drive and leadership. Excellent data analytical skills.
• Strong insight and judgment, and able to identify hot topics and market opportunities amid constant change. Sustained interest in and understanding of event contracts underlying such as crypto, macro events, sports, and politics.
• Ability to systematically produce AI tools to improve personal work output and efficiency (AI leverage) — e.g. using AI to support data analysis, documentation, and code/query writing in day-to-day work.
• Experience investing or trading in equities, FX, crypto spot/derivatives, or quantitative trading is preferred.

Nice-To-Haves

• Experience in options product design or trading, or hands-on trading/research/industry experience with similar event contracts platforms is a plus.
• Experience designing Market Maker strategies or liquidity incentive mechanisms is a plus.
