Bristlecone Inc. is seeking a mid‑senior Technical Lead to drive cloud‑native application engineering and project management initiatives. In this role, you will architect, develop, and oversee end‑to‑end delivery of cloud solutions, mentor engineers, and collaborate with stakeholders to align technical strategy with business goals.

  • Define and execute technical roadmaps for cloud‑based applications and services.
  • Lead cross‑functional teams through all phases of the software development lifecycle.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, risks, and deliverables using Agile methodologies.
  • Architect scalable, secure, and cost‑optimized cloud infrastructures on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Mentor and coach engineers on best practices, code quality, and DevOps processes.
  • Coordinate with product owners and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks to accelerate delivery.
  • Conduct technical reviews, performance tuning, and root‑cause analysis for production issues.
  • Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory standards.
  • Report project status, metrics, and outcomes to senior leadership.
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, application engineering, and project leadership.
  • Proficiency with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform services and infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Strong background in modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Node.js) and microservices design.
  • Demonstrated success managing Agile projects and delivering complex solutions on schedule.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
  • Solid understanding of security best practices, networking, and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to mentor technical teams and foster a collaborative culture.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, PMP, Scrum Master) are a plus.
