IT Support Engineer (Infrastructure & Network)

We are seeking a versatile IT Support Engineer with deep technical expertise in Microsoft environments and network infrastructure. This role supports critical specialized systems across both office and remote operational environments. The ideal candidate is hands-on, highly adaptable, and ready to travel on short notice—including providing on-site support at industrial or maritime sites across Singapore and the Asia region, which may occasionally occur during nights or weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Systems Support: Provide end-to-end technical support for office and remote site systems, including hardware/software installation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
• Microsoft Ecosystem Management: Configure and support Windows 11, Windows Server, and the Microsoft 365 suite.
• Network Administration: Deploy and maintain network hardware, including switches, routers, and VLAN configurations.
• Security & Firewalls: Administer and troubleshoot Fortinet equipment (specifically FortiGate) for routing policies, security configurations, and firewall rules.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Manage Azure components including Virtual Machines (VMs), storage, identity management, and connectivity.
• Operational Continuity: Coordinate remote and on-site support for remote business units to ensure minimal downtime and high system availability.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate network diagrams, system configurations, and support logs.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with technical crews, third-party vendors, and internal IT teams to resolve complex operational issues.

Requirements

• Experience: 2–4 years in IT support, systems administration, or network engineering.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Azure, and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching).
• Connectivity Tools: Familiarity with VPN, DHCP, DNS, and RDP.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, a proactive attitude toward field-based work, and the ability to work independently in remote locations.
• Availability: Willingness to travel regionally and perform after-hours/rotational support as required by operational needs
