Senior Product Owner / Business Analyst – FX Structured Products

Job Description

My client is a leading fintech company building innovative electronic trading solutions for the global wealth management and private banking industry. They are expanding their platform with a next-generation FX Structured Products solution and are looking for an experienced Senior Product Owner to lead this strategic initiative.

This role is ideal for someone with deep expertise in FX derivatives and structured products, combined with a strong track record of delivering technology solutions in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the product vision, roadmap, and functional requirements for the FX Structured Products platform.
• Gather, analyze, and prioritize business requirements, translating them into detailed user stories and functional specifications.
• Design intuitive UI/UX workflows for RFQ (Request for Quote), pricing, and order execution.
• Define end-to-end trading workflows across pre-trade, execution, and post-trade lifecycle events.
• Collaborate closely with software engineering and DevOps teams to drive product delivery using Agile methodologies.
• Manage the product backlog and project progress using JIRA.

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of experience in FX Derivatives / Structured Products, with strong expertise in products such as:
• FX Options
• Dual Currency Notes (DCNs)
• Target Redemption Forwards (TARFs)
• Pivot Structures
• Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Senior Technical Business Analyst within a technology-driven Agile environment.
• Deep understanding of FX pricing, RFQ workflows, execution, and post-trade processes.
• Experience designing financial trading platforms, e-trading solutions, or derivatives pricing interfaces.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA and Agile delivery methodologies.
• Knowledge of the FIX Protocol is a strong advantage.
• Strong academic background from a reputable university is preferred.
