Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking data analytics professional to lead the digital transformation of reporting systems and business intelligence solutions. Operating at the strategic intersection of quantitative analytics, commercial modeling, and stakeholder engagement, the role holder will enhance organizational performance by modernizing data architecture, automating critical reporting streams, and ensuring solution integrity across multiple functional domains. By translating complex data sets into coherent, impactful narratives, this individual will drive business transparency, support commercial decision-making, and uphold high standards of governance in full alignment with regional and global frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Digital Solution Scoping & Delivery: Architect, build, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, automated workflows via Power Automate, and advanced financial models in Excel to drive operational visibility.
- Operational Reporting & Data Governance: Execute standard recurring reporting, ensuring strict data accuracy, timeliness, consistency, and adherence to established governance standards and architecture.
- Commercial & Strategic Insight: Conduct deep-dive commercial analysis and develop financial models that directly support bid development, executive strategy, and client-facing requirements.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Storytelling: Proactively collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leaders to translate raw data into clear, actionable business stories and foster high user adoption of digital analytical tools.
- Continuous Improvement: Regularly audit existing reporting workflows to eliminate redundant, non-value-adding analytical tasks, streamlining processes for maximum efficiency and scalability.
Requirements
- Technical & Analytical Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in data modeling, statistical analysis, and dashboard development using Power BI, Power Automate, and advanced Excel.
- Education & Background: Degree-level qualification in Finance, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related quantitative discipline, backed by relevant professional experience in commercial environments.
- Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Strong analytical acumen with a proven track record of dissecting complex problems, navigating ambiguity, and delivering structured solutions with minimal initial guidance.
- Stakeholder Management & Communication: Outstanding interpersonal and narrative skills, capable of bridging technical concepts for non-technical audiences and influencing decision-makers at all organizational levels.
- Execution & Mindset: Resilient, highly autonomous, and efficient at prioritizing competing deliverables; driven by continuous learning, innovation, and periodic travel across UK sites to foster business engagement.
