Job Description

ExeQut is seeking a Product Owner who can bridge business needs and technical execution. The ideal candidate is skilled at translating product vision into actionable backlog items, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-value product increments.

Primary Responsibilities

• Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring it is well-defined, prioritized, and aligned with business goals.
• Translate product vision and stakeholder requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define technical requirements and ensure timely delivery
• Prioritize product backlogs and make data-driven decisions using product metrics
• Write clear documentation, including product requirements, decision logs, and release notes
• Review technical specifications for completeness before estimations.

Qualifications and Requirements

Must-Have

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4-5 years of experience as a Product Owner, with at least 2 years specifically in a technical product management role.
• Proven track record of successfully launching and managing technical products or features through the entire product lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of software development processes (Agile, Scrum) and technologies.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Experience working directly with engineering teams to define technical requirements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely delivery.
• Ability to break down complex technical problems into steps that drive product development.

Nice-to-Have

• Master's degree in a related field (Computer Science, Business Administration).
• Experience with software development as an engineer or a solutions architect.
• Demonstrated ability to define any analyze product metrics, identify areas for improvement. and make date-driven decisions.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS/Azure, AI/ML and with advanced programming languages
• Experience in SaaS, Payments or FinTech.
• Familiarity with UX/UI principles and best practices.
• Experience with user research methodologies.
• Certifications related to product management (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Pragmatic Marketing, AIPMM Certified Product Manager (CPM)), Project Management Professional (PMP), or equivalent.
• Experience with SQL or other database querying languages.

• Fluent English & Arabic communication
• Available during US Eastern Time working hours from Monday to Friday
• Adaptable, resilient, and proactive in handling evolving priorities
